Preethi mixers are very well known in India, and work great. I was hesitant to purchase bcuz of the issues of the 110 Volt. But this preethi mixie from Great Elect works PERFECT. I've used Preethi in India and this is the same. I liked grinding the idli, dosas in India and now I can do the same here in USA. This Preethi mixer is great and it comes with spare parts. I will be using this mixer for years to come.

First of all the demo cd was missing and then it keeps on turning off when you grind urad and rice for dose idli etc very upset with this one

This product was packaged well and arrived in mint condition, and it works well. Tried the small jar to grind a spice powder and it was powerful and it made a fine powder. The chutney jar is good size.
